Rob Assels

Rob Assels is the Research Director in the firm’s Halifax office. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society and earned the society’s Credentialed Evaluator (CE) designation in 2012. He also sits on the business advisory committee for the Seneca College Applied Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Rob has worked for both public and private sector clients. His experience in the private sector includes financial services, travel and tourism, natural resources, manufacturing and retail. He has also completed over 100 public sector research and evaluation projects. Some of his most recent clients include: the Nova Scotia Department of Justice, the Ontario Ministry of Community, Children and Social Services, and Employment and Social Development Canada. Rob is also an experienced qualitative researcher, having moderated more than 300 focus groups and conducted hundreds of in–depth interviews.
